Today was our last day in Dinosaur Country. We started our morning off in Glendive, Montana. Our first stop was the Glendive Dinosaur Museum. They base their museum off of creationism, which made for an interesting start to our day. Dane was not impressed.  Then we stopped at a Music and More Store. It was recommended by the front desk clerk at our hotel. Damian was in heaven and they had a giant t-rex skeleton too.  Then we went to Makoshika State Park. They have found Dinosaurs in the park. We didn't have a lot of time, so we just checked out the visitor's center.  Then, we left Montana and our first stop in North Dakota was in Dickinson  at the Badlands Dinosaur Musuem.  The rest of our day was driving across North Dakota. We had to make a stop to see Salem Sue.... which was udderly cool.... The biggest Holstein in the world.  And then we stopped in Jamestown to see th

Today we visited Baisch Dinosaur Digs in Glendive, Montana! (This is our after photo). We spent 8 hours digging, climbing, collecting Dinosaur fossils, turtle fossils, and agatized wood. It was amazing. We don't have quite as many photos today as we spent most of our time digging and collecting!  Shana Baisch was an amazing guide. She was super knowledgeable and made sure we were all able to walk away with some really cool finds! I highly recommend visiting Baisch Dinosaur Digs!  http://www.dailydinosaurdigs.com/

We started this morning in Bozeman, Montana and went right to the Museum of the Rockies.  Although the musuem has a large Dinosaur exhibit, there were also other things on display as well.  Steven determined we all have some sort of spirit Dinosaur and he thinks that mine is one of the Ceratopsians. We spent the rest of the day driving across Montana. We're in Glendive for the night, tomorrow we dig!

Today we left Cody and headed to Yellowstone National Park.   We entered the park through the East Entrance and it wasn't long before we saw some wildlife.  There were a few buffalo grazing on the side of the road.  and a little bit further up the road we saw an elk grazing as well.  With only one day and with the road construction/closures we had to pick and choose which locations to visit. We opted to make our first stop at Old Faithful. We arrived shortly after the geyser had errupted, so we had some time to walk the boardwalks to see some of the other geysers. We saw the beehive geyser errupt. and then we waited for Old Faithful.  The boys were not as impressed with the geyser as they were with the dinosaurs. Even though we saw it in 2008, I still thought it was a pretty awesome site to see!  Our second area to explore was the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.  You can see where the mist and the sunlight created
