The Quest for Megalodon Day 3

We started our morning in Dayton, Ohio at the Aullwood Audobon.  If you have not heard of the sculpture artist, Thomas Dambo, you should really look him up! He is from Denmark and likes to recycle things into art! He has created more than 100 trolls all around the world.  You can visit his website here.

With the 3 trolls we saw today, I (Amy) have officially seen 17 of them, and Little Bibbi is by far my favorite. I think she may be my spirit troll!!

After our hike, we headed to the Boonshoft Museum. Although this museum was clearly geared toward younger children, it was a pretty amazing stop! If we would have gone here when Dane was younger, we would have spent the whole day.

Then we drove to Slade, Kentucky. We went straight to the Natural Bridge Skylift.

We took the ski lift up and down.

The natural bridge is pretty amazing.

The ride back down was scarier than the ride up!

We drove right down the road and checked into the Hemlock Lodge. We decided to have dinner right here at the lodge... Here is your who at what? photos.

You can see all of our trip photos by clicking here.

Tomorrow..... We venture further south... a stop in Tennessee before we head to North Carolina :).
