Trip Credit!!! Philadelphia Weekend Part 2

Last night. We decided to wander down the street to check out Independence Park and the Liberty Bell.

Today was an adventure... to say the least. 
Allan and I started off at the Market while Dane slept in. Then... we decided to Hop on the On/off bus tour. 
Due to a festival, we new that a big chunk of the tour was not running. 
The wait at the first stop was crazy, so we walked to the Chinese Friendship Gate to Hop On. This proved to be a smart move, because when we arrived at the other stop, the line was still crazy. 

About half way through, we decided to Hop Off to check out some sites. With the detours and the traffic, we just missed the ferry tour.. so we opted to skip it and check out some gaming shops in town. 
We had lunch at one of them. Dane was completely in his element :). 

Getting back on the bus proved to be a challenge... We ended up walking the majority of the way. 
We went back to the market to pick up our dinner :).

! Today's adventure was the Vandusen Botanical Garden.  Dane got us through the maze. We saw a lot of birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. In addition to ducks, fish, and a coyote.  After the gardens we checked out a few anime shops and then headed to our hotel to relax before our travel home tomorrow.

Cruisin' to Alaska & Visiting Vancouver- Day 2

(not our cruise ship)  Hello Vancouver!  (Our view from our hotel last night) We slept in this morning. After yesterday's long day of travel and the time change for us, today was a much needed day to take it easy. We booked this "extra day" as a buffer to make sure we made it here in time if there were any travel snaffoos. Luckily, we mad eit here on time with no issues!  Then we made our way into the city to the Pan Pacific Hotel.  Our view here is a little bit different ;). Our conference will kick off here tomorrow before we board the ship. We are on the 20th floor and the view is gorgeous!  We spent the afternoon wandering around in Vancouver. We found an art museum, and a comic book/ anime store!  Our hotel is amazing and right on the water....  We took a late afternoon rest at the hotel and went venturing out on the pier before dinner.  (the rooftop pool area on level 8 of our hotel. Day 1

Well... .we made it to Minnesota. Today was mostly a day of driving. We drove south through Wisconsin and west to Bloomington. Dane had fun signaling the truckers to honk, and we managed to get 8 trucks to respond. A good portion of the trip I sat in the back with Dane, so with our tinted windows, it was difficult for them to see our signals. We were happy to pass through Wisconsin, as Dane quickly realized that it continually smells of something as we passed all of the farms.... Allan was quite intrigued by the landscape, rolling hills and lots of silos....... (you can connect the dots...) We arrived into Minnesota a bit later than planned, but that was okay. We checked into our hotel and then we were off to the Mall of America.... We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, and we sat in the primate section... The random calls of the gorillas and the chimps filled the air... One was swinging above us.... Dane was quite certain he/she was trying to poop in our food. We were on constant guar...
